On April 22nd, Ambassador Zhao Xing met with Acting Minister of Information and Culture Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwa. They exchanged views on enhancing exchanges and cooperation in the cultural field between the two countries.

Ambassador Zhao spoke positively of China-Afghanistan relations, stressing that in recent years, political mutual trust between the two countries has been continuously deepened, and practical cooperation in various fields has has achieved fruitful outcome. Afghanistan's cultural relics are the common wealth of humanity. China is willing to carry out more cooperation with Afghanistan on the protection of cultural relics.

Khairkhwa thanked China for its valuable support to Afghanistan and noted that protecting Afghanistan’s cultural heritage is the top priority of the Ministry of Information. Afghan side stands ready to cooperate with China in this regard.
