On April 22th, Ambassador Zhao Xing met with Acting Foreign Minister, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi. They exchanged views on China-Afghanistan relations.

Zhao applauded China-Afghanistan relations, and noted that  China stands ready to deepen cooperation on trade, border control and security areas with Afghanistan. Zhao also conveyed his condolences for the victims of recent floods in Afghanistan.

Minister Muttaqi appreciated China’s unselfish support and stressed that Afghanistan is willing to maintain close cooperation with China on all fields. He welcomed more Chinese companies to invest in Afghanistan.
