Embassy of China in Afghanistan holds the Reception to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army

On July 22nd, Embassy of China in Afghanistan held the Reception to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army. Ambassador Zhao Xing, Defense Attaché Senior Colonel Fei Xiaojun and nearly 100 officials from the Afghan government, diplomatic corps, international organizations attended the reception.

Zhao Xing said that the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China will not only chart the course for China's future development, but also inject more energy to the lasting peace and prosperity of humanity. China will fully implement the Global Security Initiative, to build a world of lasting peace and universal security.

Fei Xiaojun said that the PLA has made important contributions to safeguarding world peace, and is willing to work with the militaries of all countries in the world, including Afghanistan, to have sincere exchanges and pragmatic cooperation, jointly safeguarding the regional and world peace.

The guests extended congratulations on the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, highly commended the contribution of the PLA to world security and development, and expressed their willingness to continue to deepen friendly exchanges and cooperation with China in various fields.
