Chinese Embassy in Afghanistan Holds Discussion with “Chinese Ambassador Scholarship” Recipients

On November 6, the Chinese Embassy in  Afghanistan held a discussion with representatives of the “Chinese  Ambassador Scholarship” recipients from Kabul University. The event was  attended by Minister Bao Xuhui and young diplomats from the embassy,  Kabul University Vice President Salahuddin Ayoubi, Dean of the Faculty  of Foreign Languages Muhammad Basil,  Executive Director of the  Confucius Institute Wahidullah Halimy, and several student  representatives.

Minister  Bao stated China is willing to strengthen educational exchanges and  cooperation with Afghanistan, continue  offering “Chinese Ambassador  Scholarship” to outstanding students of Kabul University, and  welcome more Afghan students to pursue further studies in China.

Vice  President Ayoubi expressed gratitude to China for its long-term support  to Kabul University, especially to the Confucius Institute. He  emphasized the university’s commitment to enhance educational  cooperation with China and further develop bilateral friendship.

The  student representatives expressed their appreciation for the Ambassador  Scholarship provided by China and stated their endeavour to study hard  and contribute to the friendship between Afghanistan and China in the  future.
