Embassy of China in Afghanistan donates "Care Packages" to Afghan Children

On November 12, the ceremony of donating  "Care package" by the Chinese Embassy in Afghanistan to Afghan children  through Afghan Red Crescent Society was held at the Mashal Bayat School  in Kabul. Minister Bao Xuhui of the Embassy, Acting President Sheikh  Shahabudin Dilawer of the Afghan Red Crescent Society and hundreds of  children attended the ceremony.

Minister  Bao said in his speech that Afghanistan is currently in a critical  period of reconstruction. Such donation is another example of  China-Afghanistan friendship and mutual assistance. He hopes that  children will set lofty aspirations, study hard, grow up healthily,  become bridge of friendship between the two countries and create a  better tomorrow for China-Afghanistan relations and Afghan development.

Acting  President Dilawer thanked China for its long-term selfless help to  Afghanistan. He said that this kind gesture will make Afghan children  feel the love from China and sowed the seeds of friendship between the  two countries in their hearts. He encouraged the children to use the  materials well and study hard.

The Embassy  donated a total of 1,000 "Care Packages" to Afghan Children  which includes school bags, thermos cups, pens, panda dolls and other  learning and living supplies.
