On December 1, Ambassador Zhao Xing met  with Acting Minister of Refugee and Repatriation of Afghanistan Khalil  Rahman Haqqani and exchanged views on humanitarian assistance to  Afghanistan.

Ambassador Zhao  emphasized that China attaches great importance to Afghanistan's urgent  humanitarian needs and is willing to strengthen cooperation in the  humanitarian field to support Afghan people’s livelihood and social  development.

Minister Khalil  expressed gratitude for China's long-standing support and assistance to  Afghanistan and said Afghanistan is determined to  strengthen dialogue  and cooperation with China in order to promote the further development  of bilateral relationship.
