On November 12th, Minister Bao Xuhui met with Mr. Hafiz Azizurahman, Vice President of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, and transferred an emergency humanitarian cash assistance of US$100,000 provided by the Red Cross Society of China, to support Afghanistan in earthquake relief work.

Hafiz briefed the earthquake disaster and the emergency relief work carried out by the Afghan Red Crescent Society, and stated that China's condolences and assistance were of great support for Afghan people in the affected areas, which Afghanistan appreciated a lot. The Red Crescent Society will properly utilize this donation and dedicate them to disaster relief and reconstruction for the people in the affected areas.
